Badge Ride 2007
In 2007 the Police Badge Ride was in support of the Simcoe- Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre to be built at the Royal Victoria Hospital site in Barrie, Ontario. This will enable people living north of Toronto a chance to stay closer to home as they receive cancer treatment.
The 2007 ride set off from OLG Slots at Georgian Downs after a full hot breakfast and travelled into Canadian Forces Base Borden where ride stopped to pay tribute to our troops. The ride then continued along until a rest stop on the beautiful shores of Wasaga Beach. After that it was on to the ride's finish in the City of Barrie where participants capped the day with a hot dinner and some great fellowship.
