Registration Information
Registration fee is $50.00 for riders and $30.00 for passengers, payable by CHEQUE/CASH, at check-in on Sunday August 15th 2010.
Note: Badge Ride apologizes to everyone for implementing the following policy for 2010. However since registration is STRICTLY LIMITED and food and expenses are incurred in advance based on registrations, it has become necessary to implement this policy due to past no-shows.
Badge Ride now requires valid credit card information during the registration process. Where a registrant fails to cancel his/her online registration before 9:00pm on August 11th, 2010 AND is a NO SHOW at Badge Ride on Sun 15 August, 2010, a $15.00 non-attendance fee will apply and be posted to the credit card. NOTE, if the registrant has someone attend in their place, the above non-attendance fee will not apply, however the onus to advise of the substitution at the sign in desk rests with the substitute rider/passenger who must still meet Badge Ride eligibility criteria to participate in the Badge Ride.
Registration:Law Enforcement/EMS Registration to the Ontario Police "Badge Ride" is open to all law enforcement, fire, corrections and emergency workers.
For Badge Ride registration purposes this includes active/retired sworn police officers, special contstables, firefighters, sworn civilians, employees of the courts, by-law enforcement officers, members of the military, corrections employees, para-medics & ambulance attendants, hospital staff and employees of provincial and federal ministries with enforcement or rescue mandates such as the Ministry of Transportation, Conservation, Environment, etc.
(Note: Please ensure you bring your official identification with you to the "Badge Ride". You may be requested to produce it prior to being permitted to join the "Badge Ride"
Registration:Non-Law Enforcement/EMS
Non-law enforcement/EMS motorcycle enthusiasts are encouraged to participate along side law enforcement and EMS riders in the Ontario Police "Badge Ride" 2010.
These riders/passengers wishing to register for the Ontario Police Badge Ride 2010 require a qualifying sponsor (Law Enforcement or EMS as above) in order to have their registration processed and confirmed.
These riders/passengers are responsible for their own registration, waiver and fee. The sole role of the sponsor is to provide confirmation as to the registrants registration and may be contacted to confirm sponsorship.
